Welcome to the American Association for Technology in Psychiatry
The 2026 APA San Francisco, California – May 16 through 20, has been a success. The theme of this year’s meeting was “Empowering the Psychiatric Workforce: Taking Control of Our Practices One Step at a Time.” This addressed both the challenges and opportunities ahead. It was a call to focus on what each of us can do, day by day, to strengthen the profession and the care provided.

Next year’s Annual Meeting for the American Psychiatric Association (APA) will be held in New York City from May 1 – 7, 2027. Inspired by this year, perhaps it is time to consider submitting a session or course for 2027.

The 2024 Mental Health Services Conference took place September 26 – 28. It brought psychiatrists and other mental health professionals together to collaborate on practical advice to influence systems-level change for their patients. Held in-person in Baltimore, Maryland at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor hotel.
