The theme of this year&#8217;s meeting was &#8220;Empowering the Psychiatric Workforce: Taking Control of Our Practices One Step at a Time.\u201d This addressed both the challenges and opportunities ahead. It was a call to focus on what each of us can do, day by day, to strengthen the profession and the care provided. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tecpsych.com\/techpsych\/apa-2026-technology-sessions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Link to APA 2026 Technology Sessions <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.psychiatry.org\/Psychiatrists\/Meetings\/annual-meeting\/Blog\"><strong>The annual meeting Blog shares some of the highlights and special events of the meeting.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.psychiatry.org\/news-room\/news-releases\"><strong>APA Meeting News Releases<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next year&#8217;s Annual Meeting for the <strong>American Psychiatric Association (APA)<\/strong> will be held in <strong>New York City<\/strong> from <strong>May 1 &#8211; 7, 2027<\/strong>. Inspired by this year, perhaps it is time to consider submitting a session or course for 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tecpsych.com\/techpsych\/apa-2026-technology-sessions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Link to APA 2026 Technology Sessions &amp; Locations<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"is-style-wide wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Most Recent<\/strong> <strong>&amp; Past Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A very successful APA Los Angeles, California just took place May 17 through 21, 2025. It brought psychiatrists and other mental health professionals together to collaborate on practical advice to influence systems-level change for their patients.
